Parliamentary Working Group for RA Electoral Legislation Reforms Convenes First Sitting

On July 4, the Parliamentary Working Group comprised of four representatives from the RPA, ARF, Tsarukyan and Yelq/Way out Factions convened the first sitting, and was formed for the Electoral Legislation Reforms on June 20.

The authorized representatives of the Working Group created with the same purpose in the RA Government did not take part in the discussion, though as the moderator Davit Harutyunyan noted the invitation was sent on June 21.

The Member from the Yelq Faction Lena Nazaryan has proposed to observe her also as a member of the Government Working Group, as their recommendations do not differ from each other.

The RPA Faction presented six recommendations and the ARF presented 10 recommendations for the RA Electoral Legislation Reforms.

The Working Group will hold the next sitting on July 5, at 14:00.
